2026 Awards Guideline

 

The CSR, ESG and Sustainability Awards, hosted by CSR Network Zambia (CSRNZ), have become a prominent event in Zambia’s corporate and sustainability landscape. Since their inception in 2019, these awards have grown in prominence, recognizing outstanding contributions in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.

As we prepare for the 7th Edition of the CSR, ESG and Sustainability Awards, scheduled for 20th February 2026 in Lusaka, the event will continue to be a vital platform to honor organizations, non-profits and individuals committed to making a positive impact on society and the environment. The awards reflect an unwavering dedication to community development and responsible business conduct. The event will feature a two-day conference on 18th and 19th February 2026, insightful discussions, a site visit to a project, and a gala dinner on the final night. We eagerly look forward to celebrating those who are making a tangible difference in Zambia’s communities and environment.

Requirements to Enter the Awards

To be eligible for the awards, organizations and individuals must meet the following criteria:

a) Eligibility:

  • Must be a registered organization or individual operating in Zambia.
  • Nominated CSR initiatives must have been implemented between October 2024 and October 2025.
  • Nominated initiatives should be original and must not have been previously entered and awarded in any of the past CSR and Sustainability Awards.
  • Provide verifiable evidence of implementation and anticipated impact.

b) Documentation:

  • Submit a brief description of the CSR initiative, including objectives, activities, outcomes, and impact.
  • Provide supporting documents, such as photos and videos.
  • Include the contact information of the primary contact person.

c) Submission Guidelines:

  • Each entry must be justified using the Form provided and submitted to awards@csrzambia.org.
  • All entries must be in English and adhere to the word limits specified in the entry forms.
  • Submissions should be clear, concise, and focused on the impact and innovation of the CSR initiatives.
  • Any nominations that do not meet the above criteria will be automatically disqualified.

 

Guidelines on How to Enter

Step 1: Choose a Category

  • Review the categories and subcategories and select the one that best fits your initiative(s).

Step 2: Prepare Your Entry

  • Gather all necessary documentation, including descriptions, evidence of impact, and any supporting materials.
  • Ensure your entry clearly aligns with the objectives of the chosen category.

Step 3: Complete the Online Entry Form

  • Visit the online nomination form, providing all required information. The CSRNZ Team will reach out upon submission of your entries and guide on how best to submit supporting evidence/info for each category entered.

Step 4: Submit Your Entry

  • Download Form here
  • Prepare all your supporting info (descriptions, images and videos, if available)
  • Ensure all sections of the form are completed.
  • Submit your justification and supporting info before the deadline: 15 November 2025.

Step 5: Confirmation and Review

  • You will receive an email confirmation upon successful submission of your entry.
  • An independent panel of judges will review all entries, and finalists will be notified by mid-January 2026.

  • Conference: 18th-19th February 2026
